What can we expect from home values in 2025? The answer is largely growth, according to Domain’s 2025 outlook. 

As the image shows, Domain is forecasting growth for the house market in all capital cities, with Perth remaining the country’s hottest market. 

High levels of demand in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane are likely to keep putting upward pressure on prices as the economies in these cities remain strong and population growth continues.  

In Sydney, affordability concerns are likely to reduce buyer demand which will slow the rate of growth. But this could change if interest rates are cut. 

Melbourne’s market is expected to grow, marking a change from 2024’s decline. This is thanks to strong population growth and the potential for interest rate cuts.
